I'm a professional dancer with 10 years of experience in the industry. With training in styles such as Contemporary, Jazz, Hip hop, Commercial, Street dance, Body popping, 1960's and later branching out into Classical Iranian which has been seen on Television, west end theatre, music videos and various stages around the world.

 
As a child, I have always been a dance admirer and having watched many Michael Jackson videos, it was inevitable that I chose to study performing arts at college where my formal dance training began. I also partook in training at the famous pineapple dance studio and huskies to extend my skills. With this in hand I created my own dance troupe and competed at various dance competitions.

To extend my knowledge and learn about the history of dance I went to complete my Degree at Hertfordshire University and graduated with an HND in Performing Arts.

 

In parallel to my studies I trained at Young Persons Theatre Company where I had various lead roles, the main being in ‘Flamingos Blues’ which was performed at Unicorn Theatre in London Bridge. With this performance I faced challenges in learning new styles such as Lindy hop, Jive and Swing, which I could add to the list of other dance styles I was able to perform at a professional level. After a few years of leaving, I was contacted and asked to come back and teach dance at this company.
